When your door closes behind you, and you realize you are alone, without your life partner …..
When the doctor’s message is a gateway to an intense time of suffering ….
When the unthinkable happens and you leave the graveside of your precious child …
When your Marine gives his life for his country …
When relationships end in shattered dreams …
When nothing seems to make sense …

YOU MAY BE ASKING
Is there hope for tomorrow?
Is there light in the darkness?
Is there someone who cares?

Music Box Angels ministry is blessed with human messengers, called by our God to be messengers of His love to those who suffer. Our desire is to give hope, to be light and demonstrate that people do care. The needs of the suffering take on different faces; those confined to their homes, to wounded warriors, to foster children, the unemployed, those abused and in shelters; to the sick, the grieving and so many more. Our desire is to be a source of hope and encouragement in a time of suffering and perhaps ease a bit of the pain.

Music Box Angels handcraft beautiful origami music boxes. We hand deliver decorated boxes alive with inspirational music. We visit with these dear ones, we cry with them, maybe even laugh together; and most of all we listen. The boxes are accompanied by a hand-made card signed by the volunteers who make the lovely boxes. In addition, we pray for and follow-up with everyone with a phone call(s) and visitation.

Since the beginning of our ministry in January 2017, we have handcrafted and delivered over 200 music boxes, have mailed approximately 30 to other parts of the country. We have made hundreds of phone calls, prayed for and encouraged the hurting in Oregon, Washington and more recently throughout the U.S. We have made numerous presentations to various church and community groups and are expanding from our 7 volunteers who make the boxes to over 25 volunteers in local churches and homes in many communities. There are additional volunteers who make personalized cards, oversee and engage in other ministry activities such as fundraising, the prayer ministry and speaking to various groups.

The impact of this young ministry astounds us. Here is just a small sample of the comments we have received from the recipients of the boxes:

A little girl in Idaho has had 28 surgeries since birth. After she received the beautiful pink music box and turned the key she said, “Jesus loves me and some ladies in Salem, Oregon love me, too.”
Mikala’s mother

“I was low in spirit and feeling useless until you arrived with my precious ‘Box.’ Your loving thoughts and prayers were just what I needed. The time of it all was perfect. Your workmanship is awesome. What a wonderful ministry you have in and through the Lord.”
P.L, Salem, Oregon

“Thank you. We will treasure this music box and keep as a keep-sake and when we play it we will sing the song, “Jesus Loves Me,” to him. He is two years old.”
The aunt of a little boy suffering from cancer

“On Wednesday afternoon, our doorbell rang and there stood a lovely lady with a great big smile on her face and handed us a wonderful music box. She told us that God loved us…”
